Headquarters, Idaho: Welcome to the LineShack Vacation Cabin
Vacation cabin rental in the Pierce and Weippe, Clearwater County, Idaho area.
Stay at Headquarters, Idaho, in the only vacation rental available.
At the end of Idaho State Highway 11, the cabin is located in 'The Circle' and provides access to acres and acres of Potlatch, state and federal lands.
The cabin is supplied with just about anything and everything you need for a fun vacation. The "North LineShack" has a fully equipped kitchen, telephone, 3 bedrooms, and a TV/VCR/DVD. (There are numerous videos and DVD's available at the cabin, or bring your own.)
The rate for double occupancy is $75 per night (2 night minimum stay). There is a $75 deposit required upon the booking of your stay. Additional persons are $10 per person, per night.
The "North LineShack" offers an intimate retreat for a couple or comfortable accommodations for a small group.
At the North LineShack Cabin Rental, you can usually jump on your snowmobile right out the back door and traverse miles and miles of unbroken snow, or depending on the groomer schedule, you may be able to ride many miles of groomed trails. If snow conditions require traveling, it's only a short trip to other take-off points.
Other winter recreational activities include cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, tubing and just watching the snowflakes fall. Bald Mountain Ski Hill (downhill skiing and snowboarding) is approximately 20 minutes away.
Think how wonderful it would be to come back to the "North LineShack" Cabin to a simmering hot tub to relieve all those sore and achy muscles.
Enjoy fishing at Deer Creek Reservoir (3 miles), Dworshak Lake (25 miles), or the North Fork of the Clearwater River (23 paved miles). Deer, elk, bear and turkey hunting are also popular activities in the Headquarters area. And perhaps the most anticipated activity of all picking those luscious huckleberries during season.
When the roads are free of snow, take a leisurely drive to the North Fork of the Clearwater River. Turn left at Aquarius and enjoy a trip to Isabella Landing (be sure and take your binoculars as mountain goats may be on the opposite mountain side); or venture on up to Smith Ridge. Turn right at Aquarius (you might want to take a fishing pole) and make the loop up to Bungalow and over French Mountain where you'll come out at Pierce.
While cruising through town, stop for a bite to eat or visit the J. Howard Bradbury Museum or one of the quaint, unique gift shops.
